RS Studios is Melbourne’s premier creative production facility, offering world-class spaces for photography, film, television, and commercial shoots. Conveniently located just 10km from Melbourne’s CBD, the studios provide the size, flexibility, and technical capability to accommodate productions of any scale.

Previously known as Filmworx Studios, RS Studios continues the legacy of one of Melbourne’s most established production spaces - now under new ownership and refreshed for the next generation of creators. Designed by working industry professionals, the studios are purpose-built to deliver efficiency, comfort, and creativity for all types of shoots.

Two large studio spaces, both with 4x6m roller door access
7–8m high ceilings with multiple rigging points for diverse lighting configurations
Studio 1: 1,500sqm with full drive-in/drive-out access for large vehicles
Studio 2: 685sqm with a two-wall, 40m x 6m white cyclorama and adjacent 350sqm multi-purpose area
Male, Female & Accessible amenities in both studios
Extensive onsite parking with 3,600sqm for cars, trucks, and unit base setups
Two 10m² green screens available for visual effects and compositing work

Frequently asked questions

RS Studios is a premium production facility just a 10-15 minute drive from Melbourne’s CBD. It features two large studios, production offices, a multipurpose area, and extensive on-site parking - purpose-built for film, TV, and content creation.

We offer Australia’s largest two-wall white cyclorama, blacked-out studio spaces, sound-reduced and heat-insulated walls, and multiple 3-phase power options. Lighting and production gear can be arranged through our trusted partners.

Our standard hours are 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday. After-hours, weekend, and overnight bookings are available on request.
